The mission of the Family Support Organization of Middlesex County is to provide support to families of children with behavioral or emotional challenges and developmental disabilities. Our goal is to ensure that high quality, family friendly, child-centered services are created, delivered, and maintained.
The Family Support Organization hopes to achieve this goal with the highest respect for values, preferences, beliefs, and culture competency in the community. Through culturally respectful trainings, speakers, and advocacy, we hope for the best outcome possible.
The vision of the Family Support Organization of Middlesex County is a system in which families of children with behavioral or emotional challenges encounter user-friendly, needs based, and unconditional care services.
The Harmony Family Success Center
The Harmony Family Success Center (FSC) is a neighborhood gathering place where any Middlesex County resident can go for support, information, and services. The purpose of the FSC is to enrich the lives of children by strengthening families and neighborhoods. The FSC provides services directly, collaborates with community agencies to provide services on site, and helps arrange access to off–site resources where necessary.
The Mobile Family Success Center (MFSC) is a community-based, family centered program, utilizing neighborhood gathering places where any community resident can go for family support, information and services. The program currently focuses on bringing services to East Brunswick, Edison, North Brunswick, Piscataway and Sayreville, but events are open to all residents of Middlesex County.

Family Success Center (FSC) is community based. Family centered neighborhood gathering places where any resident of Middlesex County can go for support, information, and services with parent leadership at its center. The purpose of the FSC is to enrich the lives of children and adults by making families and neighborhoods stronger.
The goals of the Family Success Center is to promote family well- being, link families to community services, empower and support families, provide culturally sensitive programs and help families identify and build on their strengths.
Join us to learn more about your health care rights and how to access the medical care you need. Our
keynote speaker, Christina Ho, professor of law at Rutgers University, Newark Campus, will discuss health care coverage for LGBT individuals under the Affordable Care Act.
Other topics will include LGBT legal rights, intersectionality (the overlapping of different forms of discrimination), federal support services available to the LGBT community and the unique concerns of LGBT seniors.
