At the Family Support Organization of Middlesex County (FSO), you’ll find a team of caregivers who truly understand what you’re going through—because they’ve been there too. FSO staff are parents and caregivers of children with mental health, behavioral, substance use, or developmental challenges.

They’re here to support you with compassion, understanding, and practical guidance. Whether you need someone to talk to, help navigating the system, or tools to advocate for your child, FSO is here to walk alongside you.

FSO offers free support, education, and advocacy to families in Middlesex County, and there’s a Family Support Organization in every county throughout New Jersey.

You don’t need insurance or to meet income requirements to access support. FSO is part of the New Jersey Children’s System of Care, and services are available to any family who needs them.
