Operations Manager

Reports to Chief Operating Officer

Education / Skills
License preferred: LCSW, LPC, LMFT. At least five years’ experience supervising and in a middle management role with oversight of social service staff in a non-profit family service organization. At least three years’ experience working within the NJ CSOC.

Job Description
Supports and implements the day to day operations of the organization through the supervision of Care Management Supervisor staff. Ensures that Care Management teams are effective in the provision of services and adhering to all relevant regulatory standards. Assists the Chief Operating Officer in implementation and training of Care Management standards and staff to ensure organizational progress in achieving those goals and objectives within the strategic and annual plans as they relate to service provision, compliance with regulatory standards and employee relations. Effectively communicates that Operations staff are integrating the mission and values of the organization in their work with youth and families.

Care Manager (Bilingual, Spanish)

Education / Skills
Bachelor’s Degree in a Human Service field. At least one year post undergraduate/graduate experience providing family and youth services within a non-profit social services setting. Excellent communication, facilitation, assessment and system negotiation skills, creativity and enthusiasm are essential. Ability to work as a team. Ability to demonstrate professionalism at all times. Bilingual (Spanish) required.

To provide coordination and/or the direct provision of assessment, service planning and care management services to youth and families in a manner that is respectful, dignified and that enhances family self-sufficiency. A primary responsibility is to assist families in overcoming obstacles by utilizing and building upon their strengths and vision. The Care Manager is responsible for ensuring that the mission of the organization is carried out through the work that it is charged with.
